Our History
In 2001, after years of false hope, the mother of a young man living with autism envisioned a new way to support her son. Her name was Vickie. Vickie was weary of agencies trying to make her son adapt to their ways, their structures, and their rules. She visualized a model where the care would be created around her son’s needs rather than the other way around.
Vickie’s goal was to develop the right support for, and with, her son so that he could live his best life. Vickie built a team to do so and thus BSTN was born.
Over the years, BSTN has built its specialized services with the guidance of our clients and their parents, all starting with Vickie. Today, Vickie’s legacy is our inspiration to strive for the delivery of truthful, “person and family-centered” residential services.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life of the people we serve through compassionate care, specific protection plans and the science of applied behavioral analysis.
BSTN utilizes a resilient model of safety to provide the highest quality of care to the people we serve. When we pair these initiatives with our unique tracking software, we are able to amplify the quality of care provided to the person served.
